Japan Fact: There is a class of books called Nihonjinron (lit studies of the Japanese people) which contain absurd claims about the Japanese, such at the claim that their brain works differently and that the Japanese have longer intestines than the other people.
Some of the beliefs have made their way in general Japanese society, but most well-educated Japanese pay little mind to these racist views.
